JULIA VANARSDALE MILLER specializes in the tactile and movement arts. She is a puppeteer, graphic designer, performer, choreographer and video maker who holds an inexplicable interest in breathing life into the inanimate and telling stories without words.

She is a former member of Blair Thomas & Company, curator of Links Hall’s Nasty, Brutish, & Short: A Puppet Cabaret, and founding member of the contemporary shadow puppet company Manual Cinema. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University.
