To Leave You is a new interdisciplinary performance by RMW&A acknowledging the impressions we leave in and for one another as we live and pass on. Created and performed alongside a dynamic team of acclaimed collaborators - dance artists, Jessica Tong and Jason Hortin (Hubbard Street Dance Chicago), musician/composer, Nate Kinsella (Birthmark, American Football) and visual artist, Julia Miller (Manual Cinema) - To Leave You seamlessly blends movement, music, film, and projection into a tapestry of scenes investigating the idea of trace - a mapping of the essences, memories and messages we leave behind when we exit this world.

To Leave You had a preview performance on September 18-19, 2025 at MCA Chicago as part of the 2025 Chicago Performs series.

In its quiet power and seamless blend of art forms—karaoke revelry, cinematic projections, exquisitely human dance—To Leave You becomes more than a performance. Audience members may leave with a flicker of their own memories stirred, a reminder of the invisible traces we carry and the ones we will someday leave behind. It is an invitation to remember and to be remembered.
